CFG Enterprise

CFG Professional

CFG Basic

Enterprise

CashFlow Guardian Enterprise version is a SaaS solution designed for large volumes of data and large work groups.  The version includes our continuous monitoring capability and customized workflow.

The key features are grouped in five functional areas. The following describes the features by functional area:

Continuous Monitoring

The CFG Data Gateway is the first component of the CFG Continuous Monitoring feature. It is used for deployments where CFG is automatically importing data files. The Data Gateway allows CFG to evaluate and organize data files before the import process. The Data Gateway will cleanse improper formats and data types that would prevent a data file from loading properly. It also evaluates the completeness and to some extent the accuracy of the data. This enables CFG to import files from disparate systems with formatting issues without requiring the client to reengineer their extraction process.

The CFG Data Manager is the second and final component of the CFG Continuous Monitoring feature. It is used for deployments where CFG is automatically importing, exporting and archiving data files. The Data Manager allows CFG to control the timing of data and key processes like business rule processing in an automated fashion. CFG's continuous monitoring capabilities give an organization real time protection against financial leakage and internal control weaknesses.

Business Rule Wizard

CFG has modules that include standard business rules that end-users can deploy or customize with the Business Rule Wizard. Business Rules can easily be constructed and tested against subsets of data in the Business Rule Wizard before applying against a full data set in production. Rules can be ranked by severity to focus work to the most severe infractions related to greatest process weakness and potential for identifying overpayments. The following are examples of how business rules are used to analyze data.

  • Review transactions for accuracy and completeness
  • Test the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes
  • Test the effectiveness and efficiency of policies and procedures
  • Trend data to discover unusual transactions
  • Calculate statistics and performance measures

CFG Core

With CFG, users have the ability to adapt the interface, Active Grid, to meet their needs. Users can view data in a spreadsheet like grid. The user can sort, order and modify the number of columns displayed in the grid view by utilizing the Column Wizard. The view can be saved in the wizard and shared with other users.

The Active Grid simplifies data analysis functions like filtering. The Quick Filter dynamically changes filter options based on data formats like text, dates and numbers. The Quick Filter contains filters for ranges and missing data eliminating function building like other spreadsheet applications.

CFG's hierarchical or parent/child relationships allow the user to select an item and drill down to the related detail. CFG's drill down capabilities effectively organizes data to enable users to work efficiently with identified infractions.

Reporting

CFG has a wealth of standard and customized reporting options. additionally, custom reports can be developed to display client specific data.

CFG also includes several Dashboards that summarize the status of the project and key performance indicators. The Dashboards report on data load statistics, the progress of resolving items and overall performance. Dashboards can be customized to report spend analytics and other desired key performance indicators.

Workflow

With CashFlow Guardian, actions can be performed on items tracked in CFG. Users follow a predefined workflow that can be customized by client. Users annotate and assign items for supervisor review. Users can use standard or custom forms such as email or mail merge templates, claim forms and detail reports to forward to outside sources.   Files and scanned documents can be attached to items and viewed from CFG. CFG also exports data to files that are formatted for import into most accounting systems. The data grid and reports can be filtered or sorted by action status.  Additionally, CFG has a standard dashboard that reports KPIs related to the action status of items tracked in CFG.
