CFG offers a wide variety of pre-defined rulesets from third party developers. CFG will evaluate ruleset submissions from independent companies and individuals and, once certified, the ruleset will be made available for sale to current and prospective CFG customers.

NOTE: Many business intelligence packages offer their own proprietary database underneath the application, which can be very problematic regarding compatibility, long-term survivability and feature set constraints. CFG is built on Microsoft database technology, specifically the worldwide, market-share leading Microsoft SQL Server®. These 3rd party canned rulesets can be for alternative accounting or non-accounting data sources (A/Rs, shipping/freight billing data, telco billing data, etc.), can be specific to industry verticals, and so on.
